DANCE DEPARTMENT

■Dance Major

UNDER THE GUIDANCE OF PROFESSIONALS AT THE FOREFRONT OF THEIR CAREERS, TURN YOUR DREAMS INTO REALITY. CURRICULUM DESIGNED TO HELP YOU BECOME A PROFESSIONAL DANCER IN 2 YEARS.

DANCE

Our department's concepts are to 'learn all genres of dance', to 'organize and direct an individually created routine', and the 'ability to teach'. These three basic abilities, which are necessary within the professional dance world, will be acquired within two years at SHOBI. Using the techniques and knowledge learned, students will prepare numerous performances in order to confirm and practice what they have learned in class. From this experience students will be able to challenge themselves with professional auditions. Every year a large number of students are successful at these auditions and are able to debut as professional dancers.
