Stand on stage, create the stage itself
From 'performer' to 'direction and production', you can learn it all.

With majors in Professional Dance, Musical, and Voice Acting & Acting — all aiming to succeed on stage and in media — as well as the Direction & Production major that works alongside these performers to bring performances and stages to life, the Performing Arts Department offers four diverse areas of study.
The Direction & Production major is especially unique in that students also thoroughly learn practical skills in dance, acting, and vocals in their first year.

FOCUS

FOCUS1

For those aiming to debut and for those who want to work in direction and production

Even though it is all called 'Performing Arts' in one word, the fields of activity are diverse.
Whether you want to debut in dance, musicals, voice acting, or acting or to be involved in creating the stage and performances together with the cast through direction and production work; you can choose from four majors depending on what you want to pursue.

focus1

FOCUS2

Abundant audition and stage experience with a focus on future career paths

In the debut-focused majors, regular on-campus auditions are held as simulations based on actual auditions from the industry. These lead to opportunities for stage experience through department performances and external events, allowing students to steadily build their experience from day to day.

focus2

FOCUS3

Direction and production that works on-site with a deep understanding of performers

Even in the stage production/direction major, which aims to create performances together with the cast on stage, students learn practical skills such as dance, acting and vocals. Through this training, you can gain the ability to produce and direct high-quality performances with a solid understanding of the performer's perspective in real-world settings.
