The Professional Musician Department’s 2016 RISE UP AUDITION was held on March 3, 2017 at Shibuya’s ‘TSUTAYA O-nest’. Nine bands and solo artists from the almost monthly auditions and the February audition participated in this audition.

Two international students performed on stage at the RISE UP AUDITION this year:

 

Fighting bravely as a first year student was Cristina Jaclyn Reinelt from England.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Part of the band “Mud Jam.s” as vocalist and acoustic guitar player was Jocelyn Lucero Hernandez Guzman from Mexico.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

At SHOBI’s RISE UP AUDITION, the talent scouts from major record labels and music businesses attend and judge the students performances. After the audition has ended, there is a get-together where the talent scouts are able to talk with students they are interested in about the possibility of debuting and producing music.

SHOBI’s Professional Musician Department focuses their energy completely on the idea of “producing a new era of music with a new age of artists.”
